Free Reef

I am Niels, born in ’84 and a big fan of tech and nature. Long ago after forgetting to water my plants, I decided to keep plants that grow in water.

Reef aquariums are similar to large computer systems. Combining the two came naturally. Both are systems with lots of variables to tweak. In my nature I like to understand systems, processes and events.. so aquariums are a great hobby for me.

Photography has always been a thing. Creating my own gimbals, cranes, drones and more to take photos for other hobby’s, but mostly reefs.

with over 15 years of experience in taking photos of Coral, Fish and Tanks I decided to create this showcase website.

Gorgonians and Urchins are my favourite underwater life. I will keep a little database for gorgonian pics.
